Docent Events

Every year, and through the year, more than 80 knowledgeable, dedicated and friendly adults help deliver the Zoo's messages about animals. These people are called Docents. You are able to identify these people by the green shirts they wear while working at various stations throughout the Zoo. The Zoo's dedicated Docents run numerous events at the Zoo including Critter Challenge, Party for the Planet, Discover Madagascar Day, Wonders of Water, Party Madagascar, Snakes and Friends Day and Genesee Trail Day.
