DONATE TO LEMUR CONSERVATION. Lemurs are the most endangered primates, as more than 90% of the 103 species of lemurs considered critically endangered. The primary reason for this is deforestation in their native Madagascar, as more and more forests are burned to clear land for farming.
Thank you to those who fundraised for the lemurs through our Everyday Hero page. We still need $3,254 to meet our goal of $5,000 toward lemur conservation. Help us meet our goal by making a donation here. Donations accepted through July 31. 50% of funds raised go to lemur conservation efforts at the Zoo and 50% go toward lemur conservation in Madagascar.
