The holidays will be here before you know it, and if you are anything like me, thinking of gift ideas for loved ones evokes a little panic. No need to worry! From 7 to 10 p.m. this Saturday, November 8, the Seneca Park Zoo is hosting its annual Animal Art Expo. All year, resident animals, like African elephants, Amur tigers, snow leopards and more, have been hard at work making creative canvasses, which will be available for purchase. To watch some of the artists in action, click here.

Tickets to this 21-and-older fundraiser are $6 for Seneca Park Zoo members and $8 for non-members at the door and benefit the Seneca Park Zoo Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. All proceeds support conservation efforts, keeper development and animal enrichment, like painting! Whether you are in need of a great gift for the animal or art lover in your life, or you are looking for a unique piece to fill a space on your walls, come down. There will be a cash bar, snacks and lots of eclectic and fun art to choose from. We are sure you’ll find that perfect piece!
