This Sunday (Nov. 3) will be the Zoo’s fourth and final Go Green! Recycle Rally of the year. Our rallies are an opportunity to collect goods that cannot be taken by your garbage company and would otherwise end up in a landfill.
This includes batteries, ink toners and cartridges, small electronics such as cell phones and large electronics such as televisions and computers. In addition, if you have any important documents that need to be shredded, we will have secured bins for collection of these documents so that they can be shredded at a later time. This is all free of charge!
Just swing by the Zoo and look for the signs that direct you to the rally, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Zoo’s parking lot. Our friendly staff and volunteers will be there to greet you and assist you with unloading.
Recycling is perhaps the easiest way to help save the planet, so stop by! For more information on what we can and cannot accept at the rally, click here. Hope to see you all there!
