This service is a mode of transportation for anyone needing assistance getting back to the Front Gate once your visit has begun. It is not a tour. For information about tours, click here. This service is provided regularly from April 1 through October 31. From November 1 through March 31, there may be a slight delay due to inclement weather, ice or snow. Visitors requiring assistance can speak with any staff member while on Zoo grounds or call the handi-cart directly at (585) 295-7388.
Handicap spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the parking lot located closest to the Front Gate.
Contact a Zoo staff member for information about designated, out-of-the-way areas in the Zoo made available to visitors who may need to take a break with their child or member of their group.
Service animals are welcome. Guests with service animals must notify staff at the Front Gate before entering the Zoo.
Wheelchairs are available at our ZooShop, free of charge. Simply leave your car key and/or driver's license behind until the wheelchair is returned to us.
