DATES: Four Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9

Homeschool ZooClass is a four-session series of classes designed for homeschool families and based on our most popular thematic programs. Projects worked on throughout the four sessions encourage both individual and group learning, while providing students the opportunity to take an extended and interdisciplinary look at the wonders of the Zoo!

Wild about Water | For children ages 6-8

People and animals depend on water to survive. In this series, we will discover why water is so important and how we can help conserve it. Students will learn about watery habitats, the water cycle, adaptations that help animals get the water they need, and more. Students will also complete projects and activities, meet education animals up-close, and explore the Zoo.

COST (Includes all 4 classes. Dates not sold separately.)

Members: $90 / student
Non-members: $110 / student

Going, Going, Saved! | For children ages 9-12

Certain animal populations are decreasing, and they need our help to survive. From pollution to habitat loss, there are many issues affecting animals that people have the ability to do something about. This series will focus on the different issues, the animals affected by them, and what we can do to make a difference both individually and together.

COST (Includes all 4 classes. Dates not sold separately.)

Members: $90 / student
Non-members: $110 / student

Additional Information:

One parent may stay on Zoo grounds for free (although this is not required); any additional adults or children age 3 and older pay full admission. Learn more about membership here.

Students should bring their own snack and water bottle. Lunch is not provided.
