We’re celebrating World Sea Lion Day at Seneca Park Zoo on Sunday, June 2. Learn all about California sea lions through keeper chats, enrichment and training demonstrations, BioFacts, crafts, and more. Hear directly from animal care staff about what it’s like to care for the Zoo’s four sea lions – Lily, Bob, Daley and Mary Lou!
Interactive stations will demonstrate a sea lion’s adaptations, the differences between a sea lion and a seal, and the simple ways you can help protect this species, including cleaning up your local waterways and avoiding single-use plastics.
