On Saturday, February 29, join Seneca Park Zoo Urban Ecologists and Friends of Washington Grove for a fun and informative hike through Washington Grove in Cobb’s Hill Park. Located just east of the Cobb’s Hill Reservoir, Washington Grove is a breathtaking, undeveloped 100-acre sanctuary filled with large oaks and wildlife. On this hike you will learn about the history, ecology, and efforts to preserve this unique patch of woods.
Please dress for the weather and plan to meet at Tay House Lodge at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments and warm drinks will be provided.
All ages are welcome (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
