Brett Howell, Environmental Entrepreneur
We’re pleased to welcome environmental entrepreneur Brett Howell as our 2019 keynote and symposium leader. Brett’s ability to catalyze teams to achieve breakthrough environmental solutions has influenced governments, non-profits, startups, and global corporations, including the Fortune 100 company for which he presently works. As part of his personal mission to end plastic pollution, Brett led the 2019 beach clean-up team at Henderson Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the South Pacific considered the world’s most plastic-polluted beach.
Brett will give a brief keynote at the awards ceremony about his work on Henderson Island, and will be the featured speaker at the Innovation Symposium immediately following the breakfast, where he will share his perspectives on and experiences with creating market-driven business solutions that reinforce the business case for sustainability.
