Member-Only Reservations

What you should know before you visit

Thank you for being a member of Seneca Park Zoo. Special measures are in place for our members to ensure everyone’s safety. Here’s what can you expect:

New admission process

  • Timed-entry tickets are required. The number of tickets available will be set to prevent crowding. You will either print and bring your paper ticket or have the ticket on your phone.
    • Make sure your membership is up to date! If you need to renew, click here.
      • If you are unsure of the status of your membership, please contact the Member Office at 585.336.7212 or
      • If you are a new member, you will need to complete your membership transaction and return to reserve your tickets in a separate transaction.
    • When you click the Make Reservation button, you’ll need your Membership ID or Card Number printed on your card OR your Order Number if you recently purchased your membership and don’t have your card yet.
  • When you arrive, look for the blue sign that says Timed Ticketholders and Members with Reservations. At the entry gate you will need to present your membership card, Photo ID, and tickets for scanning.  Your reservation will only be honored with a current valid Seneca Park Zoo membership.
  • Your ticket allows you to enter anytime within the time stated on your ticket. If you arrive outside of your entry window, you will be asked to wait until an opening becomes available.
  • You are able to reserve a maximum of 10 timed tickets per reservation.
  • Face coverings are required for all guests over the age of two. If you or your child cannot wear a mask for health reasons, a face shield will be provided.
  • You are expected to keep social distances and will be reminded with the markers you will find throughout the Zoo.
  • There will be a one-way path through the Zoo. The total distance of the walk is 1.3 miles.

What’s open and what’s not

  • You will be able to walk the full length of the Zoo and back, past all animal habitats.
  • Rocky Coasts Gallery, ECO Center and Animals of the Savanna buildings are open, with limited access (you may have to wait in line to avoid crowding).
  • Eagle’s Landing Café and Crater Canteen are open.
  • ZooShop and Savanna Outpost are open, with limited access to avoid crowding.
  • For the safety of the animals, there will not be giraffe feedings.
  • The tram is not operating.
  • Center for Biodiversity Exploration is closed.
  • Africa Safari bus and Lynx tunnel are closed.

Expectations of members

You play an important part in keeping everyone safe! We ask you to follow these guidelines:

  • Stay home if you or anyone in your party feels ill.
  • Universal face masks, face shields,  or face coverings are required for all guests over the age of two. Zoo-themed cloth masks will also be available for purchase in the ZooShop.
  • Wash hands frequently or use hand sanitizer at stations through the Zoo.
  • Maintain proper social distancing between other groups.
  • Monitor your own group’s action and safety.
  • Be aware and respectful of other family groups.
