From November 1st through November 30th\, bring in a new or gently used winter coat (for adults or children) and receive $2 off your general admission ticket. The coats will be distributed by Willow to support families in our community as temperatures drop. \nFine print: The $2 discount applies once per ticket. This hands-on activity teaches kids and families how to creatively reuse textiles and reduce waste—turning what might be tossed out into something useful and imaginative. \nRedwood Materials – Battery CollectionRedwood Materials will be here talking about the importance of battery recovery\, reuse\, and recycling. Learn how small actions can help create a more sustainable future! \n  \n															\n															\n															\n																														 \nRecycle Rally\nVisit the Zoo and drop off your old batteries and clothes to be recycled or donated! Textiles and electronics are major contributors to waste and pollution when they end up in landfills.  \nGoodwill of the Finger Lakes: Drop-off bins will be exclusively collecting textiles (cloth and clothing). These drop-off bins will be available all day in the parking lot on November 15th for guests. \nRedwood Materials: Exclusively collecting batteries. This special evening event includes a pizza dinner\, an animal presentation\, games\, and a guided twilight tour of the Zoo\, providing a chance to see the Zoo in a whole new light. \nParticipants must arrive at the Zoo by 5:45 p.m. The adventure begins with dinner\, followed by engaging activities led by our Zoo educators.
