As is the case with many animals\, habitat loss is the number one threat to the red panda. Factors like deforestation\, unsustainable local herding practices and scarcity of bamboo\, which is 98% of their diet\, are all of great concern. \nAre You a Fan of Red Pandas? Become a Red Panda Ranger!  \nKids that love red pandas and want to get involved in their conservation should pursue becoming a Red Panda Ranger. As a Red Panda Ranger it’s up to you to learn about red pandas and then spread the word about them to people you know. \n  \n \n
