Ambassador Animal Meet & Greet

Guests will learn about what polar bears, African bull frogs, and degus have in common! Meet both Ambassador Animals up close in the Rocky Coast Gallery Sunday from noon until 1pm to discover how climate change is impacting all these animals.

What is Anoki's favorite enrichment?

Anoki loves ice blocks with treats like fish frozen inside. She also loves puzzle feeders like her big barrels!

All Day Activities

Awareness Table: Converse with Zoo Naturalists about climate change, how it is harming polar bears and the sea ice they depend on and play and interactive game to learn ways you can make a difference!

Docent Station: Learn about polar bear adaptations, feel polar bear fur, examine a polar bear skull and paw print

Polar Bear Conservation

Polar bears are classified as vulnerable, and with climate change dramatically altering the ice-covered landscapes they rely on for hunting and travel, their future is increasingly uncertain.

Seneca Park Zoo is more than a home for animals. We are a conservation program actively protecting polar bears in their natural range. Through partnerships with organizations like Polar Bears International we use research, public education, and direct conservation action, to preserve the sea ice these incredible animals depend on.

You can help too by becoming a member, visiting the Zoo, or making a donation!

Every day is a great day to visit the Zoo. Experience life on the wild side, enjoy up-close animal interactions and support global conservation efforts—right here at the Zoo. Reserve your tickets now for quick and easy entry, and enjoy more time connecting with wildlife.

We are open 362 days a year.

The Zoo opens at 9:30 a.m. for Zoo members.
Open all year long. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
