Dr. Kinari Webb is a physician and environmental innovator who links conservation with community health and social justice. Determined to change this, she founded Health In Harmony and its Indonesian partner, ASRI, which offers affordable healthcare in exchange for commitments to stop illegal logging. By combining medical care, reforestation, and sustainable livelihoods, Webb’s model has helped communities restore forests, raise incomes, and improve public health.

Central to Webb’s approach is Radical Listening—a practice of building solutions by asking communities what they truly need. This philosophy now guides projects in Madagascar and the Brazilian Amazon, uniting healthcare, education, and ecosystem recovery.
