ZooCamp at Seneca Park Zoo immerses kids in wildlife, the environment, and the need to protect and care for both, all in a unique setting: the Zoo!

Full day: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Full day – $295 for Zoo members, $320 for non-members.
Half day – $170 for Zoo members, $190 for non-members. *Half day is for preschool and special needs camps only

Before Care or After Care for school-age campers – $25/week.

Information & Policies

Registrations are based on the age of the child as of June 1.

Campers will have a more positive experience if they are prepared to spend a part of each day outside and should dress accordingly. Snacks are provided, but please bring a water bottle.

Preschool camps for ages 3 and 4 are held weekly in June and run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with pick up before lunch. Campers will have a more positive experience if they are already comfortable in group settings without their parent and they must be bathroom trained. Two counselors support a maximum of 14 children. Half-day fees apply. Before or After Care options are not available.

School-age camps for ages 5 to 12 begin the week of June 29 and end the week of August 17. Full day is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Before Care drop off at 8 a.m. and After Care pickup at 5 p.m. Campers bring their own peanut-free lunch. Two counselors support a maximum of 20 children.

Special needs camps for ages 5 and 6 is held the week of July 6 and for ages 7 to 9 is held the week of August 10. Three counselors support a maximum of 14 children. This camp is tailored specifically for children with special needs that benefit from additional support. If your child is able to participate in camp but requires individual assistance with communication, behavior support, or ADLs, please contact us about arranging to have your own aide attend with your child, so they may have the most inclusive experience possible.

Half-day option is only available for campers registered for preschool or special needs camps.

Each child receives a Camp T-shirt.

Fees for one week:
Full day is $295 for Zoo members, $320 for non-members.
Half day is $170 for Zoo members, $190 for non-members.

Before Care or After Care for school-age campers, $25/week.

Payment in full is due with registration. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please read and complete medical and registration information provided online in full. A pick-up authorization form will be sent with your confirmation and needs to be completed prior to the first day of camp.

Financial Assistance: We offer a limited number of need-based ZooCamp Scholarships. Applications must be received within the application period to be considered; the application deadline is end of day March 2, 2026.
