Meet the North American River otters that call Seneca Park Zoo home. In this tour, you will have a chance to meet the otters in our care and to chat with our animal care team about their personalities and unique behaviors!
Tickets are $100 per person, include a $25.00 donation for species’ survival, and can be purchased here. Tickets are limited. Admission ticket to the Zoo (or Zoo membership) also required for entry.

River’s Edge Tours are open to guests ages 8+. Minors must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Seneca Park Zoo reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an encounter for the safety of the animals and guests.
Guests should check in at the start of their scheduled encounter inside the Creatures of the River’s Edge building by the door along the back wall just past the sturgeon exhibit.
Please wear close-toed, non-slip shoes.

Otter Encounters are offered Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. and last about 45 minutes.
This tour is rain or shine and takes place outdoors where there is no sheltered area for guests.
Please wear weather appropriate clothes – umbrellas are welcome. The tour will be cancelled if there is lightening/thunder.

Yes, in addition to the River’s Edge Tour ticket, guests must purchase a regular admission ticket (or use their Zoo membership) to enter the Zoo.
