Tales of Conservation
Tales of Conservation
Get ready for a weekend filled with creative new ways to connect with the animals in our care and to express your love for wildlife!
We’ll have a youth art show, a texture scavenger hunt, community partners on site, signs with photography tips & tricks to help you get the best shot of the animals in our care, artists doing live paintings, guided animal drawing stations where you can learn how to draw your favorite animals, and a station where you can learn how to make origami animals!
The best part is that this event is FREE for members or included in admission.
Youth Art Show: This art show will feature work made by our very talented ZooCampers and Zoo staff!
Texture Scavenger Hunt: Get up close with our new interactive sculpture exhibit with this fun texture scavenger hunt.
Painting Stations: Let your creativity flow at painting stations throughout the Zoo. We’ll also have local artists doing live paintings throughout the day!
Origami Making: Learn how to make beautiful origami animals at this interactive station.
