Enjoy hands-on activities and engaging presentations from conservation experts, all designed to inspire a deeper connection to the river that winds through our region.

Ambassador Animal Meet & Greets

Over the weekend you will have a chance to meet a rat, a Spotted turtle, a Black Rat snake, and a rabbit up close. These meet & greets will be at the Creatures of the River’s Edge building and will be led by a Naturalist who will also share some animal facts!

All Day Activities

Awareness Table: Join a Naturalist at our Nature Cart and learn about all the frogs, toads, and salamanders you can find in and around our Genesee River!
 
Docent Station: Have you ever seen a Bald eagle flying around Rochester? Well, stop by our Docent Station and check out some amazing local photographs of Bald Eagles. Learn about what makes or breaks a healthy habitat for this amazing species.
