Great Lakes Clean-UPs 2022 – Durand Eastman Beach

Take part in a multi-city week of clean ups along the Great Lakes! The Seneca Park Zoo Society and the Buffalo Niagara Waterkeepers are asking for volunteers to take part in or host their own community clean ups during the week of April 22nd to May 6th.  As a volunteer, you could join an existing park clean up hosted by the Seneca Park Zoo or host your own with a group or solo. Clean ups can be anywhere that trash is present and near a local waterway. See information below on registering for scheduled clean ups and how to register your own

Scheduled Clean UPs:

Durand Eastman Beach  (4/23) from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Join like-minded neighbors to help clean-up our local green spaces. You’ll be amazed at the impact a focused group can make in just three hours. Help us make Rochester a cleaner, greener city! Please dress for the weather and bring water to stay hydrated. Tools, bags, and gloves will be provided and all ages are welcome to attend. 

Maple Rose Garden  (5/6) from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
