Join zoo naturalists to maintain plastic collection devices called Seabins located in the Genesee River. These Seabins are placed in Ontario Beach Park to filter any plastics that they encounter in an effort to inform us on what plastics are located in the Genesee River. Come on a walk of the port and help to do routine maintenance on these devices while learning all about the plastic pollution crisis of the river. All materials needed will be provided by zoo staff and all ages are welcome!Â
