Come Celebrate Fall Season

Come enjoy the Zoo with the beautiful backdrop of fall in New York. The Zoo will be decorated for the season with things like pumpkins, mums, straw bales, corn stalks, hay maze for kids, and more!  Apples, pumpkin spice, and seasonal sweets will be available to eat and drink, plus we will have our Conservation Graveyard, Spooktacular, and some special animal programming throughout the month.

The Zoo’s Nature Cart will be out and about on the weekends as well throughout the month with members from our naturalist team working to educate guests on things like composting and garden maintenance in the fall/winter and a special skull-themed bio fact table as it gets closer to Halloween!

Walk through the conservation graveyard, with information on extinct and endangered species and what we can do to help save them.

Fairy doors will be hidden throughout the Zoo starting around the stream by otter habitat. There will be 15 doors in total, can you find them all?
