Zoo Ambassador

Become a volunteer at the Zoo to support our conservation efforts!

About the Program

Zoo Ambassador Volunteers welcome guests to Seneca Park Zoo and introduce them to the Zoo’s habitats and inhabitants. Sharing information about these ecosystems helps inspire visitors to explore their connections with nature, care about the animals, and help us to conserve the habitats that support them.

Becoming a Zoo Ambassador means you will be helping to enhance the guest experience by cultivating a welcoming atmosphere, providing information and sharing stories about the habitats and animals represented at the Zoo.

Requirements

– You must be at least 18 years of age
– Interest in animals, nature, and conservation and sharing that with others
– Able to complete and stay current on training
– Cost is $25 to cover uniform and nametag
