The Sustainable Table Dinner

Enjoy an extraordinary dinner prepared by Lento while supporting education and conservation programming at the Zoo and in our community.

We have partnered with Restaurant Lento for our Winter Sustainable Table fundraising dinner on Wednesday, February 22, 2023!

You’ll enjoy an exclusive “Wild” themed three-course dinner, all while supporting education and conservation programming at the Zoo and in our community.

Once again, an incredibly creative menu focuses on sustainable, farm-to-table dining using fresh ingredients. Meals include a signature cocktail, mocktail or wine.

There are a limited number of seats available for a dine-in experience or you may choose to pick-up your meal and dine at home. Do good while eating well!

Price:

Dine-in: $100 per person

Pick-up: $85 per person

* Both dine-in and pick-up dinners must be pre-ordered by a to-be determined date and reservation times required

 

Choice of one appetizer:

Chopped local kale, sweet cabbage & shredded Brussel sprouts, local carrots, radish & sweet onion, Cayuga bleu cheese, orange poppy seed vinaigrette (Vegan, Gluten-free)

Spanish-Style clams, house made Basque style pork sausage, sherry, piquillo peppers, olive oil toasted breadcrumbs, scallions *Gluten-free version available upon request

Fisher Hill Farms smoked chicken wings, spicy maple glaze, bleu cheese (Gluten-free)

Cedar planked steelhead trout (Hudson Valley Fish Farm), crispy rye spaetzle, wild mushrooms, spinach & sweet onion, tarragon buerre rouge *Gluten-free version available upon request

Bolognese of Morabito Farms Grass-fed beef, house made creste d’gallo pasta, Tuscan kale, Italian cheeses *Gluten-free version available upon request

Vegan mixed grill, local shiitake mushroom, heirloom carrots, French fingerling potato, golden beet & sweet onion, chimichurri & wild rice pilaf (Vegan) 

Choice of one dessert:

Chocolate pot du creme, caramel, sea salt & whipped cream (Gluten-free) 

White wine poached bosc pear, candied pecans, vegan vanilla ice cream (Vegan, Gluten-free)
