Wine for Wildlife brings together wineries and wine enthusiasts for an after hours tasting event at the Zoo. This one-of-a-kind event will introduce wine lovers to sustainable and environmentally thoughtful wines and empower them to make a difference through the wines they choose.
Guests sample 50+ international and regionally produced sustainable and environmentally friendly wines.
During the night, guests will learn more about conscious wine selection, discover new vintages, get up close with animal experiences, savor small bites, and gain a deeper understanding of how thoughtful wine production can connect and reinforce a healthier ecosystem.Â

Alexander Riola
Born & raised Rochesterian, Alexander became a Sommelier through the Sommelier Society of America in NYC. General Manager Sommelier of Apogee Wine Bar in 2022 through 2024, he relocated and is now the General Manager Sommelier of Fish nor Fowl in Pittsburgh PA, recently voted one of the top 25 restaurants in Pittsburgh.

things to help you get ready for a night of fun.Â
Rain or Shine – This is an outdoor event, and there are limited indoor and covered areas. Dress appropriately for the weather. Â
Parking is Free – There are several open lots located throughout Seneca Park. VIP parking is located in the front lot and is available as an add-on for purchase with ticket.
This is a 21 & Over Event – Valid 21+ photo ID is required for entry. Children are not permitted. Â
Tastings – Beverage tastings will start at 5:30 p.m.
Last entry is at 7:30. Last call is 8:15 p.m. Â
Last Entry – Is at 7:30 p.m. If you leave the event for any reason, you will be unable to return.Â
Safety First – Your safety is our priority. All bags will be subject to inspection by security. Outside food and beverages are not permitted and will be confiscated at the entrance. Â
Smoke-Free Park – Smoking and vaping of any kind is only permitted in parking lots outside of Zoo grounds. Â
Zoo Accessibility – Wheelchairs are available at our ZooShop, free of charge. Limited availability on a first come, first served basis. To reserve a wheelchair, contact [email protected]Â
