Support Red Panda Conservation
Did you know?
The global red panda population has declined by 50% over the last 20 years and there may be as few as 2,500 remaining in the wild. As is the case with many animals, habitat loss is the number one threat to the red panda. Factors like deforestation, unsustainable local herding practices and scarcity of bamboo, which is 98% of their diet, are all of great concern.
Are You a Fan of Red Pandas? Become a Red Panda Ranger!
Kids that love red pandas and want to get involved in their conservation should pursue becoming a Red Panda Ranger. As a Red Panda Ranger it’s up to you to learn about red pandas and then spread the word about them to people you know.
