Pamela highlights the Zoo Society’s commitment to improving our local ecosystem through impactful programs like our Urban Ecologist Workforce Development Program, native pollinator habitat restoration, community cleanups, and plastic pollution prevention.
Her vision for the future centers around equity in access to nature. Pamela emphasized the importance of addressing environmental injustice through meaningful municipal investments in tree canopies, green spaces, and projects like the new High Falls State Park.
